Mango Lassi

This Indian-inspired thick, creamy, cooling drink is super-easy to make. It requires no cooking and will only take you a few minutes with a good blender - and it provides a ‘good-source’ of phytoestrogens.

Ingredients

  • 6 large ice cubes
  • 1 cup ripe mango flesh (fresh or canned)
  • 200 g mango flavoured low-fat soy yoghurt
  • 2 tsp honey

Method

  1. Crush the ice cubes in a blender
  2. Add the mango flesh, soy yoghurt and honey, and puree for about 1 minute, until smooth
  3. Serve chilled
