2013 Appointed Professional Associate of the University of Canberra

Sue Radd is member of the Curriculum Advisory Group, advising on curriculum and professional practice competencies for the training of students in all Nutrition and Dietetics courses at the University of Canberra.  She is also a member of the College of Adjuncts.

 

 

 

 

 

2013 Honoured with Advanced Accredited Practising Dietitian Credential

Advanced APD

The credential is awarded by the Dietitians Association of Australia to proactive leaders who use high-level nutrition and dietetic skills to have an impact on the health of the community. Advanced Practising Dietitians (AdvAPD's) are role models for the profession of nutrition and dietetics and the credential is an informal way of recognising their outstanding professional achievements.

Less than 2 % of the Dietitians in Australia have been awarded this credential.

We support the future of dietetics by working together with the Human Nutrition Unit at the University of Sydney to provide professional development, training, and supervision of dietetic interns. Students are able to appreciate the practical application of clinical dietetics as well as assist the dietitians in a range of consultancy projects and cookshops.

  

 

 

 

 

2010 Culinary Medicine Cookshops Win DAA Presidents Award

Since the introduction of our first cookshop in September 2009, we have had a phenomenal response from attendees. Our cookshops have also won a prestigious award from the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) in May 2010 for the best innovation in the field of nutrition and dietetics.
